Fair Use Policy

This Fair Use Policy (FUP) outlines the absolute parameters for acceptable usage across the SkyRainCloud.in network. This policy is engineered to prevent "noisy neighbor" effects and ensure that no single user monopolizes shared system resources to the detriment of others. By accessing any Company service, you agree to these fair use standards. We define "Excessive Usage" as any activity that persists at a level significantly higher than the average for similar plans, or any activity that triggers automated system alerts for resource contention.

All hosting plans include strictly allocated virtualized resources. While some features may be labeled as "unmetered," this refers to legitimate, human-centric application traffic and is subject to the following technical constraints: CPU Usage: - Sustained high CPU usage (>80% for more than 15 continuous minutes) is defined as "Impactful Usage" and may trigger automated throttling. - Background processes must not interfere with the kernel-level scheduling of the host node. - Cryptocurrency mining, distributed computing (Folding@Home, etc.), and brute-force tools are strictly prohibited. - RDP-Specific: Any automation, browser farms, or botting activity that causes a sustained load on the hypervisor is prohibited. RAM Usage: - Memory allocation is a hard limit. Inefficient applications triggering OOM (Out of Memory) events that impact host stability will be suspended. - Persistent memory ballooning or over-utilization is monitored real-time. Disk I/O: - Excessive disk I/O (IOPS) that degrades the storage array performance for other users is not permitted. - Sequential read/write tasks (e.g., mass file conversion) should be throttled by the user to prevent "Disk Contention." Bandwidth: - "Unmetered" bandwidth is intended for standard web/app traffic. Using services as a tunnel, proxy, or data relay for third-party networks is prohibited. - Web Hosting-Specific: High-frequency script execution or traffic flooding intended to test network limits is forbidden. - Automation that generates more than 500 concurrent outbound connections is classified as "Network Abuse."

The following activities are strictly forbidden and may result in immediate suspension: - Cryptocurrency Mining: Mining Bitcoin, Ethereum, or any cryptocurrency - DDoS Attacks: Launching or participating in distributed denial-of-service attacks - Spam: Sending unsolicited bulk emails or hosting spam-related content - Illegal Content: Hosting pirated software, copyrighted material, or illegal content - Proxy/VPN Abuse: Operating public proxies or VPN exit nodes without authorization - Resource Reselling: Reselling allocated resources without a reseller agreement - Malicious Software: Hosting malware, viruses, or phishing sites

Game hosting services are optimized for gameplay and have specific fair use guidelines: Unlimited Storage Policy: All game hosting plans include truly unlimited disk storage (8) with no hard caps. This means you can store as much data as your server needs without worrying about hitting storage limits. However, this feature is designed for legitimate game server use and must comply with fair use principles: What's Allowed: - Game world files, maps, and terrain data - Plugins, mods, datapacks, and resource packs - Server configurations and settings - Automated backups (up to 7 days recommended) - Player data and statistics - Custom textures and assets related to your game Fair Use Guidelines: - Most servers typically use 10-50GB of storage for normal operation - Storage exceeding 100GB per server may be reviewed to ensure compliance - Excessive backups (keeping months of daily backups) should be managed responsibly - If you need >100GB, that's fine! Just ensure it's for legitimate game server purposes What's Not Allowed: - Using game servers as general file hosting or cloud storage - Storing personal media libraries (movies, music, photos) - Backing up non-game-related systems or websites - Reselling storage space to third parties - Hosting content unrelated to your game server We're Here to Help: If your legitimate server usage requires significant storage, contact our support team. General Server Guidelines: - Servers must be used for their intended game (e.g., Minecraft servers for Minecraft only) - Excessive plugin usage that degrades performance may be restricted - Automated farming, botting, or exploit abuse is prohibited - Server modifications that bypass resource limits are not allowed - Cracked/pirated game server software is strictly forbidden

Windows RDP services are provisioned for professional remote administration, software development, and non-abusive connectivity tasks: - Browser Automation: The operation of "Browser Farms" (multiple concurrent browser instances for reward-clicking or view-botting) is strictly prohibited. - Scraping & Botting: Automated scraping of search engines, social media platforms, or e-commerce sites is not permitted. - Crypto-Infrastructure: Background mining, node operation for decentralized networks, or any task designed to maximize hardware ROI at the expense of infrastructure longevity is forbidden. - Impact on Node: "Impact on Node" is defined as any activity causing the underlying hypervisor to prioritize one instance's requests to the detriment of others on the same physical host.

Web Hosting services are exclusively for the deployment of active websites and associated professional web applications: - Content Relevance: Hosting accounts must contain active website files. Using accounts as mass "File Dumps," personal cloud storage, or backup repositories for external data is prohibited. - CDN & Relay Abuse: Utilizing Web Hosting accounts as a global proxy, tunnel, or CDN origin for high-traffic external assets is strictly forbidden. - Security Protocol: Users are responsible for patching website vulnerabilities. Accounts found hosting phishing pages or acting as spam relays (even if due to a compromise) will be suspended immediately to protect network reputation.

VPS, Dedicated servers, and Windows RDP instances have more flexibility but must still adhere to fair use: - Services should not negatively impact other customers on shared infrastructure - Network abuse (port scanning, DDoS, spam) is prohibited - Excessive outbound connections may be rate-limited - Adult content hosting requires prior approval and compliance with legal regulations - Tor exit nodes and similar high-risk services are not permitted

SkyRainCloud.in utilizes advanced, real-time telemetry and automated heuristic detection systems to ensure network integrity: - Automated Systems: Protocols are in place to automatically throttle or "jail" processes that violate CPU or Network I/O thresholds. - Telemetry: We monitor system-wide resource contention metrics to identify and isolate "Noisy Neighbors" before they impact service quality. - Investigation: We reserve the absolute right to inspect process IDs and network logs if automated alerts indicate a breach of this FUP. - Compliance: Customers are expected to cooperate with technical investigations; failure to do so will result in immediate termination.

Violations of this Fair Use Policy may result in: First Offense: - Warning email with details of the violation - Request to reduce resource usage or remove prohibited content - 24-48 hour grace period to comply Second Offense: - Temporary service suspension (up to 24 hours) - Mandatory compliance before service restoration - Potential upgrade requirement to higher-tier plan Severe/Repeated Violations: - Immediate service termination without refund - Permanent account ban - Legal action for illegal activities - Reporting to relevant authorities if applicable

If your legitimate usage consistently exceeds fair use limits, we recommend upgrading: - Contact support to discuss your resource needs - We offer custom plans for high-resource applications - Dedicated servers provide maximum resource allocation - Enterprise solutions available for large-scale deployments

If you suspect another customer is violating this policy: - Email: abuse@skyraincloud.in - Include evidence (screenshots, logs, timestamps) - Reports are investigated confidentially - False reports may result in action against the reporter

SkyRainCloud reserves the right to update this Fair Use Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via: - Email notification to registered account holders - Announcement on our website and client area - Updates are effective immediately upon posting Continued use of services after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
