This Policy applies to our website (https://www.skyraincloud.in), client portals, billing platforms, game server instances, VPS, Dedicated Servers, RDP Hosting, and associated services. SkyRainCloud does not store, transmit, or process full credit card numbers, debit card PINs, CVV codes, or online banking passwords on our own servers. Payment processors provide us with transaction tokens, transaction status updates, and anti-fraud validation flags required to authorize your Services.

Data Ownership: Any data, databases, media files, or configuration settings stored by the Customer on virtual machines, game server directories, or dedicated drives ("Server Data" or "Customer Content") remains the exclusive property of the Customer. SkyRainCloud acts strictly as a data processor for such Server Data.

Access Exclusions: SkyRainCloud system administrators will not open, view, copy, or modify Customer Server Data unless strictly necessary to:

  • - Provide direct technical assistance or server migration requested by the Customer.
  • - Investigate valid abuse reports, terms violations, malware infections, or network flooding originating from the instance.
  • - Protect the physical integrity, security, and stability of the shared hypervisor node.
  • - Comply with a lawful court order, subpoena, or government investigation directive.

# 5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies, session tokens, and local storage elements to maintain active billing panel sessions, preserve user theme preferences, improve website load times, prevent cookies from managing your hosting services.

# 6. How We Use Information

We process personal data based on the following legal grounds and business purposes:

  • - Contract Performance: To create your account, process payments, provision virtual and physical environments, and deliver support.
  • - Security & Abuse Prevention: To run anti-fraud checks, detect network abuse, block botnets, prevent unauthorized automation, and secure our hosting node boundaries.

  • - Infrastructure Partners: Data centers and transit providers when required to route IP ranges, investigate network attacks, or coordinate IP change requests.
  • - Legal Obligations: Competent judicial authorities, police forces, regulatory commissions, and tax officials if we believe disclosure is legally required.
  • - Abuse Reports Cooperation: If a third-party service provider reports abuse (e.g., DDoS, port scanning, bypass attempts) originating from a Customer's IP, we may share basic technical routing data with upstream network providers to resolve the incident.

# 8. Data Security

SkyRainCloud implements rigorous physical, administrative, and technical security measures to protect customer data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We utilize SSL/TLS encryption for all website and portal traffic, secure SSH keys for server administration, firewalls, and continuous node monitoring. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure. The Customer is responsible for maintaining secure passwords, enabling two-factor authentication (2FA), and configuring application-level security.

# 9. Data Retention

We retain account registration details, transaction history, and support records for as long as your account remains active or as required to comply with financial, tax, and legal obligations (typically up to seven years under Indian tax laws). Stored Server Data on terminated virtual machines is permanently deleted from our active storage arrays immediately upon service termination or expiration and cannot be retrieved.

Depending on your geographic location and local data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, DPDP), you possess the following rights regarding your personal data:

Depending on the specific hosting location selected by the Customer during order placement (e.g., India, Singapore, Germany, USA), your technical data and Server Data will be processed and stored in datacenters located in those respective regions. Your account profile details, billing records, and support tickets may be transferred to and processed in India, where our administrative offices are located.
